Designed at JBL’s world-renowned Acoustic Design Center of Excellence in Northridge, California, the Stage 220P is the most powerful subwoofer in the Stage series, delivering 500 watts of power to deliver the low-end excitement customers crave. This subwoofer features a long-throw 12” (300 mm) polycellulose woofer and dual rear-firing tuned reflex ports for JBL’s signature deep, punchy bass. A full range of controls ensures easy system integration.
12” (300 mm) polycellulose Ribbed Cone Low-Frequency woofer
Each Stage 2 Series speaker features Ribbed Cone woofer cones made from polycellulose. This paper cone features a proprietary blend of materials added for added rigidity, and the Ribbed Cone construction is inspired by legendary JBL styling. These woofer drivers deliver deep, accurate bass that fills the room.
300W RMS amplifier (500W peak power)
A built-in, highly efficient 500-watt amplifier ensures impressive and memorable sound quality worthy of the JBL name. The free-standing 220P can be connected to a receiver to create a stereo or multi-channel home theater system, and deliver truly punchy and powerful bass reproduction.
Bass reflex enclosure with two rounded, rear-facing reflex ports
The 200P bass reflex enclosure features two rear-firing reflex ports. The new rounded design slows down the airflow as it exits the speaker enclosure, eliminating turbulence or sound coloration.
