KEF's high-end speaker technology, including the latest generation of Uni-Q drivers and their Metamaterial Technology (MAT), is now available in the new R-Series. The seven-model speaker range includes three floorstanding models, one floorstanding speaker, two centre speakers and Dolby Atmos rear speakers, making it suitable for both home theatre and hi-fi enthusiasts. The KEF R7 Meta is a stunning 3-way floorstanding speaker. The 165 mm woofers are positioned around a Uni-Q driver, similar to the R5 Meta, using the d'Appolito principle. However, the larger woofers and larger enclosure allow for deeper and more robust bass reproduction.

The R7 Meta speakers use a revolutionary metamaterial that absorbs 99% of unwanted sound behind the tweeter. The material and labyrinth-like structure eliminate the resulting distortion and produce a cleaner, more natural sound.
The speakers use the 12th generation Uni-Q driver. The new driver, combined with the metamaterial, produces a cleaner sound with less distortion and coloration, which is more transparent and realistic than before.
