Klipsch RP-8000F II floorstanding speaker pair, black pair on offer
The new generation of the Klipsch Reference Premier series updates the previous model with, among other things, completely redesigned drivers and a 90 x 90 Tractrix tweeter, higher power handling and maximum sound pressure, and a significantly stiffer cabinet structure. The connection side has also been improved. In addition, there are separate connections for Dolby Atmos speakers on the back of the speaker, making it easy to add a ceiling channel to the configuration.
Klipsch's 90° x 90° Tractrix tweeter delivers live-quality detail and sensitivity with pure, natural sound reproduction. The larger, next-generation Tractrix tweeter delivers a wider sound field and more controlled directivity.
The Linear Travel Suspension (LTS) tweeter is one of Klipsch's most significant creations, earning praise and fame worldwide! The LTS tweeter's reproduction is minimized for better and more differentiated sound reproduction in terms of distortion. The open tweeter enclosure reduces standing waves that create unwanted resonances, resulting in more detailed and clear high-frequency reproduction.
The Reference Premier series' signature feature, the Cerametallic copper woofer, has also been redesigned. The woofer is extremely stiff and lightweight to minimize distortion and improve performance. The new voice coils are 70% larger in diameter than the previous ones, resulting in better power handling and more accurate reproduction. The Tractrix reflex port reduces turbulence and distortion, which in turn improves bass reproduction.
High-quality MDF construction with redesigned internal bracing reduces frame vibration for less colored and better sound accuracy.
The RP-8000F II has a sleek, streamlined design. Thoughtful details such as the magnetic front fabric give the speaker a finished, modern look. The aluminum feet, which have minimal floor contact, are not only stylish but also reduce mechanical vibration to the speakers compared to ABS plastic and MDF feet.
