The new VC-S3 is a new premium record cleaner with new great features. Vinyl records require special care. It is a good idea to use a carbon fiber brush (e.g. Pro-Ject Brush It) to remove dust before listening to the record. In order to clean the grooves effectively, you need to clean the record.
To achieve a perfect cleaning, you need the right cleaning fluid. We designed a new environmentally friendly, alcohol-free cleaning fluid called "Wash it 2". The new Pro-Ject Wash it 2 is a pre-mixed fluid, so you no longer have to dilute the concentrate yourself. This avoids mixing in unsuitable tap water (lime/acidity). With Wash it 2 we can optimize the cleaning performance. The VC-S3 is a very efficient washer, cleaning the records completely in one or two wash cycles.

The new magnetic clamp not only protects the disc label from the cleaning fluid, it also speeds up the entire cleaning process. Place your disc in the machine, attach the clamp and you are ready to wash – no more tedious tightening of the disc by screwing it in. The robust, easy-to-use metal arm is mechanically stable and focuses all the suction power directly on the disc surface. Together with the new self-adhesive felt, your disc is cleaned perfectly. The large inner tank (2.5 liters) collects the used fluid and is easy to empty. When using Wash it 2 cleaning fluid, the fluid also evaporates in the container, so emptying the tank is only necessary after a few thousand washed discs.
The new VC-S3 is made in Europe with high-quality materials and excellent workmanship.

Features not common in this price range:

• The VC-S3 is very fast and efficient: the powerful suction removes dirt in 1-2 turns, i.e. in a few seconds (recommended is 1 turn clockwise and 1 turn counterclockwise)
• The VC-S3 spins the disc quickly, 2 seconds per revolution, which is about three times faster than other similar washers. This makes washing discs faster and thanks to the effective suction, the end result is a cleaner and 100% dry disc: no moisture remains on the discs. So no "evaporation" after washing before putting the disc in the inner bag!
• Magnetic disc clamp locks the disc securely and protects the label from washing fluid
• Sturdy metal suction arm, mechanically stable attachment without springs. A shorter arm is available as an accessory for washing 7" singles.
• Large waste container (2.5 l) for used fluid, the filling level of which is easily checked. Convenient to empty
• A new specially developed detergent, Wash It 2, which provides excellent washing results. It reduces wear on the record and stylus and reduces static electricity on the record.
• The package includes everything, i.e. a ready-to-use package for wet cleaning vinyl records.

• This means you can wash about a dozen discs at once. You also need a suitable bottle to dispense the liquid onto the disc. A normal spray bottle or a so-called dropper bottle, with a narrow dropper tip that makes it easy to dispense the right amount of cleaning liquid, is suitable for this.
