The GAS MAD1-66 is an affordable and strong-sounding stand-alone set with the new GAS MAD1 series 6.5″ double mids , GAS MAD trebles and GAS MAD crossover filters.

Crazy sensitivity = Lots of noise
The mids of the separate series have a respectable 94dB sensitivity, so sound can be obtained even with low amplifier power. The cone is pressed paper pulp that has been reinforced, and the elements are of course metal-framed.
Technical information:
- 6.5″ SPL midrange (4pcs)
- Impedance: 4ohm
- 1″ voice coil
- Metal frame
- A cone of reinforced paper pulp
- Sensitivity: 94dB
- Playback range: 100 – 12,000Hz
- Power duration (RMS / Max): 60W / 100W
- Outer diameter: 165mm
- Sink hole: 143mm
- Immersion depth: 58mm

Bold trebles
The tweeters of the GAS MAD1-66 series have a one-inch voice coil, a sturdy cast body, and a wave-patterned rectifier, thanks to which the sound quality is even better, but also the sound field is wider than before, meaning more sound, for a wider area.
The speakers do not have separate terminals, as the wires now come directly from the voice coil, which means that less installation space is needed than usual.
Note: The speakers already have a crossover filter integrated into the tweeter cable. This must be removed when you use the splitters that come with the separate kit.
The filter integrated in the speaker cable is only used when no PXO1-24 crossover filters are used.
Technical information:
- SPL Treble (1pr)
- Impedance: 4ohm
- 1″ voice coil
- Cast frame
- Wave-patterned direction
- Sensitivity: 95dB
- Playback range: 2000 – 20,000Hz
- Power duration (RMS / Max): 50W / 100W
- Outer diameter: 95mm
- Sink hole: 70mm
- Immersion depth: 30mm

Distribution filters
The GAS MAD1-66 series has high-quality passive filters, with a separate treble level control. The distribution filter is suitable for use with double mids.
- Passive filter (1pr)
- Power rating RMS/Max: 125W / 250W
- High pass 6kHz, 12dB/oct
- Low pass: 5kHz, 6dB/oct
- Outputs for single tweeters
- Outputs for two mids
- Gold plated connectors
- Treble level adjustment 0 / -6dB
When you connect one (4ohm) treble and two (4ohm) midbass to the filter, the load going to the amplifier is two ohms/channel.

If you want to expand the set even more, no problem. All MAD1 mids, trebles and filters are also available separately!
