McIntosh MC303 Multi-channel power amplifier
The MC303 is McIntosh's most powerful multi-channel power amplifier to date, delivering 300 watts to each of the three channels. It features the renowned Autoformer technology, which allows its 300 watts of power to be delivered to 2, 4 or 8 ohm speakers with minimal noise and distortion.
The amplifier is designed to drive the left, right and center channels of a home theater. With the majority of a movie's soundtrack delivered through these three channels, the powerful MC303 provides all the power you need for a dazzling home theater experience. To include surround channels, pair the amplifier with McIntosh's MC312 or MC152 amplifiers and fully immerse yourself in your movie collection. For music lovers, the MC303 can be used with compatible speakers such as the XRT1.1K or XRT2.1K.
The MC303 shares many notable McIntosh technologies with other home theater products, including Power Guard, which prevents damage to your speakers. The Sentry Monitor is a fuseless short-circuit protection circuit that shuts down the output stage before the current exceeds a safe operating level. When the operating conditions return to normal, the output phase is automatically restored. Balanced and unbalanced inputs give flexibility if you want to connect your device to another system. Three blue wattmeters recognize the powers immediately and their light can be turned off, for example, during a movie.
