McIntosh MCD350 SACD/CD player
The MCD350 SACD/CD player offers a clean playback experience from SACDs and CDs. It has a balanced 2-channel 32-bit/192kHz D/A converter. Fixed analog stereo outputs are available in both balanced and unbalanced versions. Coaxial and optical outputs are available if you want to send a digital audio signal to an external DAC, preamp or home theater processor. All analog and digital coaxial outputs are either gold-plated or corrosion-resistant.
The player has a double read speed, so all discs placed on its rigid aluminum die-cast carriage are read at higher speeds and this allows data to be stored in buffer memory for error correction. The dual laser optical reader uses a single lens with two laser units, both of which have different wavelengths optimized for SACD and CD playback.
The exterior is McIntosh's familiar polished stainless steel frame, black glass front panel, illuminated logo and aluminum end caps.
