McIntosh MT5 Turntable
The McIntosh MT5 Precision Turntable is a complete turntable package that is greater than the sum of its parts. Every part of it is designed to exacting McIntosh standards, so it delivers excellent performance.
The MT5 is equipped with a high-performance turntable and motor, a precise tone arm and an MC sound box, which, thanks to its high output voltage, also works at the MM turntable stage. The lighted, magnetically suspended platter creates an inviting glow that is a great conversation starter among friends and guests.
The turntable is factory set for perfect playback. Tracking force, anti-skid, soundbox overhang and tonearm height are all preset for maximum performance. Advanced magnetic bearings and a precise belt-driven motor rotate the records with absolute stability and silence, guaranteeing a pleasant listening experience. The customized sound arm and compatible MC sound box follow the surface of the record with the least possible friction. Although the structure of MT5 is very carefully designed and finished, its installation is simple. After a few easy steps, you're ready to enjoy your favorite discs.
While the MT5 retains the familiar McIntosh styling, it still utilizes completely different body materials to reduce noise and resonance. Comes with a clear, molded dust cover to protect the instrument's moving parts.
