The successful Michi X5 is the most robust integrated amplifier in the series. Comprehensive connections combined with "sufficient" power reserves make this a truly delicious amplifier. Great sound quality and design crown the whole. In terms of price/quality ratio, this is even attractively affordable compared to the performance.
Very sturdy amplifier
Although the Michi X3 is the most affordable integrated in the Michi series, it is a very robust amplifier. It has a power of 600w per channel and the amplifier class is the traditional AB class.
The device is built beautifully, the body is impressively large and weighs over 43kg. The quality of the Michi is easy to sense even before the first listen.
Structure and connections
Michi is based on a traditional AB amplifier solution and a complete dualmono structure, where both power amplifiers also have their own power supply. The outputs are connected to a high-quality balanced preamplifier. So the recipe is right. Modern needs have also been taken into account, as Michi includes AKM's high-quality 32-bit DA converter, with MQA support and an APTX/AAC bluetooth receiver. The X3 also has a built-in MM & MC phono stage and a headphone amplifier.
Sound
The Rotel Michi X3 combines impressive dynamics and resolution with a very pleasant sound balance. This amplifier is easy to listen to for long periods of time, and the device's impressive power reserve gives the listener a sense of relief, the sound is airy and effortless with all types of speakers.
