Moon 860A v2 Power amplifier
Based on Moon's flagship 888 model, the new 860A v2 power amplifier is a balanced dual mono amplifier that offers both exceptional transparency and a remarkable musical soundstage. The amplifier can be used in stereo or connected to mono.
The 860A v2 offers the latest innovations in audio technology packed into a very high-quality build. Musical precision allows the listener to enjoy the classic transparency and natural sound of Simaudio.
The balanced differential double mono amplifier contains class A power (up to 5W) and works with practically all speakers, reaching its full sound potential. The 860A v2 features new and improved circuitry in the input and gain stages, a new internal bias control, and an integrated removable DC-coupled filter for better pairing with preamps.
Simaudio's Lynx technology eliminates negative feedback and transient intermodulation distortion. High damping ensures excellent musical dynamics, better signal speed and refined tonal accuracy. To ensure perfect continuous performance, a self-diagnostic system detects overheating as well as the presence of DC in the input signal.
