Ortofon MC Quintet Bronze sound box
The needle of the Quintet Bronze sound box has a Nude Fine Line diamond with a slim profile, which follows even the highest frequencies from the grooves of the records. Quintet Bronze makes sure that the sound reproduction is noise-free and balanced in all areas.

Anti-skipping
The Quintet stylus type normally has anti-skipping when the recommended tracking force is used.
Needle protection
The needle guard is included in all Quintet series boxes and is easily replaceable and removable. To avoid damage to the needle or the console, attach the needle guard whenever you are not using the player.
Mind you
To avoid damage to the needle or component, keep the needle guard in place when installing or removing the case.
Needle maintenance
Ortofon does not recommend using any cleaning agents on the needle or the disc surface. If necessary, the plates can be washed with lukewarm mineral-free water with a small amount of hand dishwashing liquid. Always remove dust from the disc surface with an antistatic brush or cloth after use. Using a cleaning agent on the needle and component may cause damage to the cement of the needle or its internal parts. The sound box can be seriously damaged if the cleaning agent gets inside the box. In these cases, Ortofon's warranty expires. A fiber brush should be used to clean the needle, brushing parallel to the needle. By cleaning the plates regularly, you extend the life of the needle.
