Phoenix Gold ZDST6CS is a 165mm (6.5″) separate kit that fits many different Toyotas.
Midbass
The midbass is a Plug & Play installation directly in place of the original midbass, and installing the midbass does not require any modifications to the car's structures or wiring. The midbass is significantly higher quality than the car's original speaker and the element has a sandwich composite cone, rubber top suspension and a large Y30 ferrite magnet. The speaker reproduces its entire frequency range naturally and effortlessly, bringing a whole new kick and dynamics to the bass side.
The speaker has a sealing ring that fits tightly against the door panel, and another sealing ring around the upper suspension, which in turn seals the speaker against the door trim.
Treble
The tweeter is a one-inch silk dome tweeter and the ZDST6CS series has separate 6dB high-pass filters for the tweeter. The tweeter is physically compact and can be installed in many Toyotas in place of the original tweeter. The tweeter, like the midbass, is not a plug / play model, but installing it behind the car's original tweeter grille may require attaching the speaker, e.g. with hot glue, and modifying the speaker wires.
If you want to install the tweeter "visible" or if the car does not have original tweeter locations, the kit comes with surface mounting cups.
