The ZDSV1 is a high-end three-way discrete set that is made to fit directly in place of a variety of Volvo's original front speakers.
Replacing Volvo's original speakers with Phoenix Gold's three-way set does not require any modifications to the car's structure or wiring, as the speakers fit directly in place of the original speakers.
The separate kit comes with the necessary crossovers for the midbass and midrange drivers. The tweeters have a crossover integrated into the speaker body.
The 6.5″ midbass has a sturdy 13oz magnet, reinforced plastic body, rubber top suspension, and a cone made of compressed paper pulp. The speaker reproduces its entire frequency range naturally and effortlessly, bringing kick and dynamics to the bass side.

The 4″ midrange drivers in the separate series feature a neodymium magnet, an inch voice coil, a plastic-molded body, and a multilayer composite cone. The speaker reproduces its entire frequency range naturally and effortlessly, and improves the midrange reproduction to a significantly more pleasant level, compared to the car’s factory-installed speakers.

The tweeter in the set is the Phoenix Gold ZDSV25T, which has a 25mm titanium dome and fits directly in place of the original tweeter. Phoenix Gold tweeters give you more resolution and accuracy in your top end reproduction.
