Description
The Phoenix Gold ZR65CS is a very good-sounding stand-alone set that stays under control even at high volumes.
The separate series midbass have a metal body and the cones of the elements are anodized aluminum. The cone material is light, but rigid, so the cone does not live its own life even when the volume is increased. The midbass have a large 115 x 30mm magnet and the mids require a minimum immersion depth of 75mm, but in terms of the best cooling of the voice coil, we recommend leaving a space of 85mm or more from the mounting surface.
The tweeters of the ZR65CS series have a textile cone and the sound of the tweeters is very natural and unstressed. The speakers come with cups for surface and flush mounting, and the elements can be oriented in their mounting cups.
The tweeters are 22 x 43mm when they are "unassembled", so they can also be installed in many cars in place of the original tweeter, e.g. in the mirror triangle.
The stand-alone kit comes with splitters assembled from high-quality components with treble level control (0 / -3dB).
