Pioneer's GM-ME500X1 is a class D amplifier designed for marine use, which is specially designed for boat use. The amplifier has a durable paint finish, splash guards for fuses and connectors. Pioneer's digital amplifier circuit includes a "Protection Control System" that detects the internal temperature and adjusts the output power accordingly. Thanks to the "Automatic Signal Sensing and Turn-On" function, the amplifier automatically detects the input signal and switches the amplifier on and off through the speaker line input. The GM-ME500X1 includes a wired Bass Boost remote control.
