Xtension 9 Evolution, the superior champion in its price category

The Xtension 9 Evolution player's compact design reflects everything we've learned from making turntables for over 20 years. The frame of the Xtension 9 is made of metal-filled MDF board, thus creating a heavy and non-resonant structure.

The magnetic feet, which isolate the frame from its base together with the 16kg weight, effectively eliminate mechanical feedback.

Instead of a simple metal plate, a layered structure is used; metal which is damped with TPE plastic. In addition, the plate is covered with vinyl obtained from recycled LP records, which is "baked" onto the surface of the plate (a separate record mat is not needed). Only after this is the plate perfectly balanced.

The end result is a resonance-free turntable that rotates extremely sensitively and silently thanks to the ceramic bearing and magnetic feet. The Pro-Ject Xtension 9 Evolution tonearm is a 9cc Evolution“, the dust cover is also standard equipment.

Pro-Ject's Highend turntables can also be ordered with a balanced XLR cable, 5 pole connector>XLR connectors. When used together with balanced turntable preamplifiers (such as Phono Box S3, DS3, Tube, Box DS3,RS, RS2) the signal quality is the best possible.

NOTE: Both the program source and the amplifier must be equipped with balanced connectors. In this case, the protection against external interference and the signal quality remain as good as possible.
