The Pro-Ject X-tension 9 Superpack turntable includes the Pro-Ject Pick it DS2 cartridge and the Pro-Ject Connect It Phono CC 1.23 meter extension cable.
The compact design of the Xtension 9 Evolution player reflects everything Pro-Ject has learned from nearly 30 years of making turntables.
The Xtension 9 chassis is made of metal-filled MDF, resulting in a heavy, non-resonant structure. Magnetic feet, which isolate the chassis from its base, together with a 16kg weight, effectively eliminate mechanical feedback.
Instead of a simple metal platter, a layered structure is used - metal, damped with TPE plastic. In addition, the platter is coated with vinyl from recycled LPs, which is "baked" onto the platter surface (no separate record mat is needed) and only then is the platter perfectly balanced.
The end result is a resonance-free turntable that rotates extremely sensitively and silently thanks to a ceramic bearing and magnetic feet.
The Pro-Ject Xtension 9 Evolution tonearm is the "9cc Evolution", and a dust cover is also standard.
