Floating ferrite jacket
The Audio 40 cable uses a special floating Zn / Mn ferrite jacket that absorbs very high frequency interference outside of the audible audio signal, which also adversely affects the micro timing of the audible audio signal. Measured at very high frequencies, Audio 40 cables have an overwhelmingly cleaner signal transmission than typical cables.
QED Analoc™ RCA connectors
Instead of the usual large-sized brass body, the Analoc connector contains very high-quality and optimized copper contacts. This prevents the tendency of the changing magnetic field in the conductor to induce eddy currents, which can affect the micro timing of the audio signal.
Complementary Conductor technology
Improves timing and detail while maintaining the rhythm of the original song. Unlike conventional analog connections, the Reference Audio 40 uses two conductors made of silver-plated 99.999% oxygen-free copper with different diameters to carry the same audio signal. This results in a clean own path for the high frequency signal part.
