QED XT40i
The story of the QED speaker cable began in 1973, when the world's first special speaker cables, the QED 42 and 79 Strand, were released. Building on this long-standing British loudspeaker cable heritage, QED began in 1995 a comprehensive research program into cable parameters. In 2017, "The Sound of Science" was published, which is a 40-page white paper and contains QED research material since 1973.
XT40i with X-Tube ™ technology
QED's new XT40i speaker cable builds on the expertise of almost five decades at the forefront of cable design and replaces the renowned XT40 cable, providing yet another decisive step forward in sound quality.
Incorporating pure oxygen-free copper and QED's established X-Tube technology, this cable ensures excellent timing and stereo imaging, and adds a brand new and highly innovative Air Gap insulation that delivers unprecedented rhythmic precision and musicality at a new affordable price.
We encourage you to try the XT40i. We're sure you'll agree with us - it even outperforms alternative cables many times over for its price. Prepare to be surprised and delighted.
