This 3-inch separate set is designed to be used as the top end of a semi-active 3-way front end and is of course accompanied by midbasses.
The stated frequency range for this series is 350 - 30,000Hz, so the HPF filter (= high-pass filter) of the amplifier playing the series must be able to produce a low-pass of 350Hz for this series.
