Each belt is molded with our very precise custom tooling using a unique blend. Once shaped, the belts are cryogenically and barrel-frozen to remove excess flash to achieve perfect cross-sectional roundness, which is critical for accurate speed and stability. Under normal use and conditions, the life of the EBLT drive belt is 50% longer than the previous model.

In the measurement picture, you can see a direct comparison from our custom test software. You can compare the old belt (above) with the latest EBLT reference belt (below). We have been using the same Planar 1 turntable. The only part that has changed is the drive belt. You can clearly see that the increase in accuracy and cross-sectional roundness of the EBLT belt has reduced the weighted Wow/Flutter measurements. Standard belt measures 0.253% / Advanced EBLT measures 0.162% and Reference EBLT measures 0.075%

The advanced EBLT drive belt is standard on all Planar 1, Planar 1 Plus, Planar 2, Planar 3 and Planar 6 models.
