Stinger's SPX series amplifiers are very compact in size and all have IPX4 / IPX5 protection. Amplifiers therefore have many different installation sites, such as various boats, tractor ATVs, mopeds, motorhomes and all other possible vehicles where the amplifier must be physically small and/or resistant to, for example, splashing water.
The SPX1000x5 is a five-channel Class D amplifier, which enables the entire equipment to be controlled with one amplifier.
The SPX1000x5 is excellently suited for controlling front speakers, rear speakers and a subwoofer, for example.
The amplifier has separate crossover filters for the front and rear speakers for high or low pass, or the filters can also be bypassed for both channel pairs if desired.
In addition, the subwoofer channel has a 50 – 250Hz low-pass filter, stepless phase reversal, 10 – 55Hz subsonic and 0 – +18dB BassBoost.
The crossover frequency adjustment of the front and rear channels is for the 40 – 400 hertz band and the crossover pitches are 12dB/octave.
The amplifier comes with a wired volume/level control, which also has a mute function. The regulator controls the subwoofer output of the amplifiers.
