Supra DAC-XLR AUDIO XLR-XLR
Balanced stereo cable pair, very low capacitance
Supra DAC cables have a very fast response connection thanks to their very low capacitance. According to our design philosophy, the inductance of the speaker cable must be low, while the capacitance for signal coupling must be kept to a minimum. Supra DAC is insulated with a special PE plastic that shows only 45 pF / m. In addition, it is protected with foam that provides a much cheaper but more effective insulation: Without.
More properly, insulation should be an insulator that conforms to the laws of physics and does nothing that is actually called insulation. Every substance, gas, liquid or solid, has electrical properties and the trick is to find and choose the best quality of them. Air is readily available, cheap and its insulating properties are very good for the price. When PE is foamed, the remaining amount of PE becomes like a sponge, thus further reducing its electrical impact on the fragile music signal. Enclosed air is the most important insulator and results in electrical movement without brakes; full dynamics, response time and 3D sound stage, you simply don't get any closer to a real live experience.
Additionally, it is shielded with a highly efficient and strong semi-conductive nylon tape that keeps out all harmful noise. The SUPRA DAC has a velocity coefficient of up to 78% of the speed of light. With the PTFE / Teflon product often used by our competitors, it would have been only 71%.
Supra DAC-XLR - analog balanced connection
The Supra DAC cable above, equipped with our finest XLR connectors, is the Supra Swift XLR, designed to withstand the rigors of professional handling on the road. The ultra-durable 24K gold plating withstands repeated connections in virtually any climate and humidity.
