Supra LoRad:
LoRad means low radiation, which means that the structure of these power cables minimizes both electric and magnetic fields. Give your hi-fi device the most noticeable advantage of all, the ability to be silent when needed. Only then do the smallest details and notes become clearly audible and the background of time-delayed, real or artificial reflections representing the acoustic environment of the recording shows the entire sound space to the conscious hi-fi enthusiast.
LoRad protects both the device connected to it from interference from the outside and external devices from interference caused by the mains current. The LoRad MkII is a new model of the LoRad concept, now with improved protection, flexibility, flex/fatigue resistance and strength.
In addition to the physical durability of the cable, LoRad has invested in the structure of the conductors. Wires wrapped together in a short radius thus reduce the magnetic field caused by self-induction around the wires. In addition, the twisted structure reduces the effect of external disturbances, when the same voltage is induced in all conductors at the same level.
The LoRad MkII now features Supra's unique Carbon/Nylon protection concept. The semiconducting carbon/nylon shield has better properties than traditional ones, such as bending strength, environmental durability, higher tensile strength and lower microphonic effect. The Carbon/Nylon shield is connected to the protective ground along its entire length, which effectively leads the noise stuck in the shield to the ground. "We have tested and evaluated all known types of shielding to make the best cable possible. Supra's semi-conductive Carbon/Nylon shield was the only one that passed the strict safety requirements and also had the best shielding properties ever." LoRad MkII is tested and certified by Intertek Sweden and meets the European safety regulation HD21.5 S3.
Note! The Supra LoRad must be plugged into a grounded outlet for full benefit.
