The long-awaited successor to the Moon 600i amplifier is finally here. New technological developments have opened the way for an improved 600i version. The 600i V2's upgrades to the power supply and amplification stages provide a better understanding of your music with even more accurate sound, bass articulation, detail and soundscape. The amplifier is designed to meet the needs of the most demanding music listeners. It has a fully differential dual mono design with 125 watts/channel into 8 ohms. Using several new technologies developed since the introduction of the Evolution series, the 600i v2 offers more sound transparency and precision than ever before.
New technologies include M-eVOL2 volume control, with a phenomenal 530 steps, which allows for very precise level adjustment; MOON output transistors, specially designed for use in Moon amplifiers, offer tighter and more visceral bass performance, as well as unprecedented linearity across the entire frequency spectrum; Input circuitry that reduces noise while maintaining image focus and integrity.
Although rated at "only" 125w per channel, the MOON 600i v2 represents both authority and subtlety at every level.
