The T2 W intelligently extends the acclaimed Pro-Ject T1 turntable concept while also offering innovative Wi-Fi streaming technology for vinyl lovers.
This ground-breaking feature enables streaming to a range of modern network-enabled HiFi devices, including most network players, home theater A/V receivers, Smart TVs and modern streaming speakers, enabling integration into any device-compatible space across the home.
" The T2 W is a bold attempt to combine analog vinyl playback with the convenience of digital - and Pro-Ject succeeds in this beautifully. At the heart of it all is a belt-driven turntable with a nine-inch aluminum tonearm, Sumiko's mm sound box and electronic speed control, but the T2 W's trump card is also an integrated wireless module that allows the user to stream their music to network speakers and hi-fi systems. The Pro-Ject Control app makes installation and use easy and offers options such as lossless 48kHz flac output and automatic streaming when you insert the needle into the groove and at the same time, the integration of the vinyl format into the modern system has never been easier."
We have added the latest Wi-Fi technology into the package, including all the latest WLAN standards. The T2 W can either stream in our standard compressed format – enabling maximum compatibility – or in 24bit/48kHz lossless, for selected high-end streamers like our Stream Box S2 Ultra. All this is multiroom capable as well, meaning you could send hundreds of audio streams to as many receiving devices as you like, before the T2 W multi-core CPU or Wi-Fi bandwidth start to crackle down.
The new „Pro-Ject Control“ App offers a fast and intuitive user experience, while the Wi-Fi setup can be effortlessly accomplished through modern BLE functionality, simplifying the setup process.
The T2 W has a high-quality dual stage split-passive MM phono preamp – this is the first time a Pro-Ject turntable has used an integrated phono-preamp of this level. We considered this a necessity in order to maximize the Wi-Fi performance.
